GUEST COUNT AND OVERAGE POLICY (applies to “Serve” only)

During a catered event, Longhorn Catering and Events will account for the number of guests that go through the service line or lines.  According to the Catering contract, Longhorn Catering & Events is required to feed an agreed number of guests, which is 100% guaranteed.  Furthermore, said guests will be served during an agreed service time.  An accurate and ongoing guest count is achieved by counting plates and eating utensils.  It is understood that guest counts provided by the customer are estimates and often, there are additional guests to feed.  It is the policy of Longhorn Catering & Events to accommodate extra guests if at all possible.  It is our goal to continuously inform the Site Contact of guest counts during the service time.  In the event that there is “extra mouths to feed,” Longhorn Catering & Events will inform the Site Contact.  In addition, Longhorn Catering & Events will update the site contact concerning food portions as they pertain to feeding extra guests.  Only upon authorization from this contact, will Longhorn Catering & Events continue to serve the “extra” guests.  The number of these guests will be determined by our guest count procedure (see above).  This number will be agreed upon with Site Contact and invoiced at the agreed per person rate for said event.  If an authorized site contact is not present, or can not be reached, Longhorn Catering & Events will fulfill the service contract pertaining to guest count and service time.  Extra guests cannot be served without authorization from the Site Contact.

SERVICE CHARGE

Price plus 18% service charge (gratuity) and 9.5% sales tax are based on the final guest count and will be 100% guaranteed.
*Service charge does not apply to pickup orders.
