Orders may be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online. Phone orders may be placed Monday through Friday 9A – 5P by calling (253) 833-4676. For orders placed within 48 hours of service, an after hours phone number is available.
All orders are based on availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by Catering Manager (either by e-mail confirmation or issuance of a contract and customer acceptance within 24 hours).
Longhorn Catering and Events requires 24 hour notice on all orders. If you can not provide such notice, please call (253) 833-4676 to place order.
"Food Service Start Time" refers to the specific time food service begins. Longhorn Catering and Events will schedule arrival time according to Food Service Start Time.
Final guest count is due ten days prior to event date, and is 100% guaranteed.
Any and all event changes must be submitted 10 days prior to event date by e-mail or a fax to (253) 804-5493. Changes requested after guarantee date will be made at the sole discretion of Longhorn Catering and Events. Please call (253) 804-9600.
An on site phone number to reach site contact is required for all events. This number will be used for day of event correspondence as needed.
PICK UP – An order defined by Longhorn Catering & Events as a pickup order will be ready for pickup by the customer at the Pickup Time.
Disposable plates, napkins, eating utensils, serving utensils, toothpicks, wet wipes and salt and pepper will be provided, per our Full Catering Menus. (Dry goods are not provided with Bulk Food, but are available at an additional charge.)
All food items are packaged in disposable oven able containers.
To ensure product quality, any large Pick up orders (50 guests or more), must be approved by Longhorn Catering and Events prior to confirmation.
There is no minimum guest count for pickup orders.
An event defined by Longhorn Catering & Events as a delivery typically is between 25 and 50 guests, and is served as follows:
Longhorn Catering and Events will arrive no later than thirty minutes prior to agreed Food service start time as defined above.
Customer must provide service area and/or tables for event. Longhorn Catering and Events will provide tablecloth for service area. Recommended area is equivalent to two six foot rectangle tables.
Disposable plates, napkins, eating utensils, serving utensils, toothpicks, wet wipes, salt and pepper will be provided.
Longhorn Catering and Events staff will set up all food in designated service area prior to food service start time. All food will be displayed in disposable, oven able containers, and will be presented Buffet style.
Longhorn Catering and Events will ensure accuracy and quality prior to departure.
Standard minimum guest count for Longhorn Catering and Events delivery is 25 guests. Standard minimum guest count for Urban delivery is 10 guests. (Seattle location only). Exceptions to Standard minimums are common; subject to availability and location. Please call (253) 833-4676.
An event defined by Longhorn Catering & Events as a monitored delivery typically is between 50 and 75 guests, and is served as follows:
Longhorn Catering and Events will arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to agreed Food service start time as defined above.
Customer must provide service area and/or tables for event. Longhorn Catering and Events will provide tablecloth for service area. Recommended area is equivalent to two six foot rectangle tables.
Disposable plates, napkins, eating utensils, serving utensils, toothpicks, wet wipes, salt and pepper will be provided.
Longhorn Catering and Events staff will set up food in designated service area prior to food service start time. Food will be displayed in disposable, oven able containers, and will be presented Buffet style. Additional food will be displayed as needed depending on guest consumption. Staff will continue to monitor service until all food has been displayed. Staff will remain onsite between 30-45 minutes.
Longhorn Catering and Events will ensure accuracy and quality of event prior to departure. Designated Site Contact must be available at this time.
An event defined by Longhorn Catering & Events as a "serve" is a minimum of 65 guests and will be served as follows:
All products are initially prepared at restaurant and transported to the event location. Additional preparation will occur on site in our mobile kitchen.
Staff will arrive at event location no later than ninety (90) minutes prior to Food Service Start Time.
Serving tables and tablecloths are provided by Longhorn Catering and Events.
Longhorn Catering and Events provides all necessary equipment related to the food service of your event, such as service tables and hot & cold holding units. Additional items such as guest tables and chairs may be offered at an additional charge.
Disposable plates, napkins, eating utensils, toothpicks, wet wipes, and salt and pepper are provided with each menu option. Premium options may be available for an additional charge.
Menus are served buffet style, in a picnic theme.
Longhorn Catering and Events provides staff to maintain buffet line quantities and product quality throughout the entire food service time.
At Food Service End Time, Longhorn Catering and Events will be responsible for the removal of all product and service equipment. This does not include any garbage accumulated by guests.
It is understood that Longhorn Catering and Events will feed an agreed number of guests between an agreed Food service start time and an agreed Food service end time. Any and all product not served during this food service time is property of Longhorn Catering and Events. To ensure product quality and control, Longhorn Catering and Events is not able to leave product at an event site.
The minimum guest count for a serve is 65 adult guests (seasonal minimums may apply).
During a catered event, Longhorn Catering and Events will account for the number of guests that go through the service line or lines. According to the Catering contract, Longhorn Catering & Events is required to feed an agreed number of guests, which is 100% guaranteed. Furthermore, said guests will be served during an agreed service time. An accurate and ongoing guest count is achieved by counting plates and eating utensils. It is understood that guest counts provided by the customer are estimates and often, there are additional guests to feed. It is the policy of Longhorn Catering & Events to accommodate extra guests if at all possible. It is our goal to continuously inform the Site Contact of guest counts during the service time. In the event that there is “extra mouths to feed,” Longhorn Catering & Events will inform the Site Contact. In addition, Longhorn Catering & Events will update the site contact concerning food portions as they pertain to feeding extra guests. Only upon authorization from this contact, will Longhorn Catering & Events continue to serve the “extra” guests. The number of these guests will be determined by our guest count procedure (see above). This number will be agreed upon with Site Contact and invoiced at the agreed per person rate for said event. If an authorized site contact is not present, or can not be reached, Longhorn Catering & Events will fulfill the service contract pertaining to guest count and service time. Extra guests cannot be served without authorization from the Site Contact.
Price plus 20% service charge and 9.5% sales tax are based on the final guest count and will be 100% guaranteed.
*Service charge does not apply to pickup orders.
Payment in full is due the day of the event. We accept cash, company check and credit card. If paying by credit card the number must be on file 72 hours before the event. All private (non-company associated) events must provide a credit card number. For events of 500 of more, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking or 30 days prior to the event (whichever is closer), with the balance due at the time of service. For events requiring any rental items (tables, chairs, china, etc.) we require 50% of the total contract amount at the time of booking or 30 days prior to the event (whichever is closer) with the balance due at the time of service.
Once we have obtained a signed contract, cancellations will not be permitted. In the event of inclement weather, every effort must be made to reschedule said event. This applies to Pick-Up Orders, Deliveries & Full Serve catered events. Reschedule date/time must be agreed upon by Longhorn Catering & Events, and contract signee. If other extenuating circumstances apply, or reschedule date can not be agreed upon and cancellation is unavoidable, customer will be responsible to pay 50% contract balance upon cancellation.
